Today, again, a moose was on the loose here in New Sudbury. (See Moose on Lasalle Blvd. Keeps Police Busy )

It got me thinking about, what do we really know about moose? Well, here’s some info from the folks at Northern Ontario Travel to help us out with that.

9 Facts You May Not Know About Moose

Hold the date of Saturday February 22, 2025 in order to attend this year’s Ride Committee meeting. This is you opportunity to provide input into what rides will the club organize for the coming season. The meeting will beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Sturgeon Falls Comfort Inn. You bring an open mind and we bring the pizza.

As this is just the beginning of the process to ensure we have an enjoyable and safe riding season, there will be a call for volunteers to refine the plans as a part of a formal committee and/or opportunities to leader a ride for your fellow enthusiastic club members. Remember, our club’s success is based on volunteerism and a shared interest in the outdoors.

Come and have a say on what our season will look like and get involved in promoting outdoor adventure in our region.
