Insurance Requirements

Each member of the WNATV club participating in a scheduled club ride will be required to complete a waiver for insurance purposes:

There are two methods of completing this waver:

1. You will receive a “Ride Notice” in your email for each scheduled ride.  Along with the information about the ride, a web address is included for the ride’s insurance waver.

2. A web address for the season waver is included in the email notice you receive following the Annual General Membership meeting when the website password is changed.

FAQ

Why do I have to have this insurance?

As this is a club organized event there is a need to ensure all riders participating have a completed waver as per our insurance provider.

How do I complete this weaver?

It is suggested by the insurance provider that you complete the waver form by using a cell phone. This will aid in taking a photograph and your completed waver can be show to the Ride Lead at the beginning of the ride.

Is there a cost for this waver?

No. The only cost is your time to complete the online waver including your photograph.

Why do I have to have to take a photograph of myself?

This is a requirement of our insurer for the sole purpose of proving you are you in legal proceedings. At no other time will the content of the waver be used by the club or the insurer.

Who is going to check that I have a completed waver?

At the beginning of each ride the Ride Lead will be responsible to view your completed waver. This maybe done as a part of the Ride Briefing or anytime before the start of the ride.
